
The “Aviation Psychology” session organized by the Psychology Studies and Research Club of Istanbul Nişantaşı University was successfully held with strong student participation. With the participation of Expert Psychologist Mehmet Ali Erkuş, the event examined the critical role of the human mind in aviation from a multidimensional perspective.
The session focused on psychological factors affecting pilot performance, stress management in decision-making processes, the contribution of team communication to flight safety, and the importance of the human factor in minimizing errors. Participants had the opportunity to evaluate the impact of aviation psychology on operational safety and performance through theoretical and practical examples.
Enriched by a question-and-answer session and interactive discussions, the event enhanced students’ awareness of the intersection between aviation and psychology. The Aviation Psychology Session concluded as an inspiring and educational gathering for students interested in the field.
